Is your family a fan of the outdoors? Make your next trip interactive and adventurous by spending time out in the wild (or a close campground will do). Stay in a rustic cabin for the week or a long weekend, or rent a spot at the campground. Spend your days exploring the camp, picnicking, roasting s’mores and catching fireflies at night. Just don’t forget the bug spray!
Explore a city
Near a city that would be fun to explore? If you live in the ‘burbs or a rural area, head to the closest metro area to check out museums, zoos, restaurants and more! Be sure to check out local deals for venue tickets or download apps that help you explore and find budget-friendly, family-fun options.
Staycation at home
Turn your home into a mini resort. Take the week to hang with the family at home (no work allowed, parents!) and sightsee around your town. Try all of the things you always wanted to, like that new restaurant that opened up downtown or a playground that the kids love to go to.
Whatever family vacation you choose this year, don’t forget to take pictures to capture every memory! We are sure you’ll want to relive all the fun later on!
