It’s important to stay on target with your weight gain while pregnant. The average number of pounds a pregnant woman gains per month is 3-5. Most women will need 2,000 to 2,400 calories a day. Make sure you don’t eat too much of anything so focus on healthy snacks and meals for the both of you.

Tips to Tracking Weight and Food Intake:

  1. Don’t weigh yourself more than once every week.
  2. Keep track of your food intake.
  3. This can easily be done with apps on your cellular device.
  4. Exercise 30-minutes daily unless your physician says otherwise.

As long as you’re tracking you’re weight without being paranoid and over doing it, you’re on the right path.
